Safe Spaces™ is a coworking industry program led by Upflex and designed to help people access spaces that meet health and safety standards once the COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns are lifted.

In these difficult times, only solidarity and teamwork will heal our communities. When lockdowns are lifted and we begin to work outside the home once again, we must still ensure everyone is working in a safe environment.

The global program has been designed to help you and your employees access workspaces that are taking the necessary steps for health and safety.

Safe Spaces™ Partner Guidelines

To become a part of Safe Spaces™, Space Partners all agree to comply with CDC guidelines (for US Spaces) or World Health Organization or other applicable local governing body’s guidelines (for non-US Spaces). In addition, we ask Space Partners practice the following health & safety practices to keep you safe:

1. Social distancing

Keep members 6 feet away from each other and prevent unnecessary close contact to help prevent the spread of infection

2. Cleaning & disinfecting

Clean and disinfect all surfaces at least twice a day, especially high-touch surfaces.

3. Personal hygiene

Provide members with hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes, and educate all on proper hand-washing.

4. Incident reporting

If a guest was exposed or confirmed to have COVID-19, notify Upflex immediately and perform a full cleaning and disinfection of the workspace

5. Food & beverage

Offer only paper cups for beverages and pre-wrapped food items, if any.
